Year 9 student, Spike Arrowsmith, of The Elizabethan Academy, became a guitar hero for the day when he performed at the famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

The Elizabethan choir took part in the St George’s Day celebrations in King’s Park, Retford.

Marie Curie Challenge

The Marie Curie Daffodil Schools Challenge is a campaign in which teams of students aged 11-16 are challenged to raise funds for the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.

Aspiring students rewarded

The termly Headteacher's Commendations were presented to students in Years 7 - 11 in the week before Easter.

Nottinghamshire School Games Dodgeball Results

The Elizabethan boys and girls Dodgeball teams won both their competitions in the Bassetlaw Dodgeball Qualifying Competition for Notts School Games.

Maths Revision Sessions

The Mathematics department is offering a booster session on Thursday 16th April 2015, during the Easter holidays, to support all students wishing to revise targeted topics from the curriculum and complete practice past papers with the help of teachers in the Mathematics department. The session will run from 9am until 1pm.

Please encourage your son/daughter to attend this session as it will provide an excellent opportunity to consolidate the work that takes place in class and give the best opportunity to achieve the highest possible grades.
